Etui Clear View Galaxy S6 Edge

Hey,
Tried out my new Clear View case with S7 Edge and what tin can I see the "Always on Display" doesn't work anymore with information technology nor does it testify annihilation at all (practically what it displays is the basic Time, Date and that'due south information technology (for several seconds) for example I had Agenda on just not working with new example). Afterward some seconds it disappears and no longer "Always on Display" working just rather but old function which older versions used to have.
Is it some kind of error? Or is there any way effectually for this? Anyone else having this kind of problem?

I have the same problem but if i turn the phone around and then the

yeah e'er on display cease working on my phone today after a few hours and in my instance without whatsoever case or cover. i had however to buy the case for my phone.

Same here, assume that the magnet used to tell if the case has been opened or airtight doesn't tell it that information technology is using a clear view case and the brandish needs to stay on. Same issues for me with the articulate view case.
Ever on Display works 100% until I close the comprehend on the "smart case".
It over rides the AOD with its ain display which turns off afterwards 30 seconds or then.
Its as well very loose and tends to spring itself open up when I dont desire it to.
Expected more for the money to be honest.
Im totally new to Amdroid / Samsung, will they fix this with an update? Are they unremarkably responsive?
Or would I be better off returning it for a case which actually works every bit described?

That is how it suppose to work I think. The AOD will be "disabled" when the cover is close.

The packaging suggested similar but wasn't perfect English.Non sure how the case enables you to have total advantage of the AOD, when information technology kills information technology every bit presently as you shut the cover.

Another thing to exist careful with using this case is scratching the screen. Lots of reviews about the previous model scratching peoples screens, so beware if you don't have a screen protector. Think I may exist returning this case as everyone mentions, defeats the purpose of E'er On Display for some reason.

I merely realized that likewise about the AOD. I accept the S-View Flip cover case and I don't see the AOD through my case neither. Presumably it should be a adequately simple software set up, but it's a really dumb oversight on their part. Having had it a few days though I will continue it anyway, it's a prissy case even with that flaw and the fact that the "anti-fingerprint" coating does absolutely cipher!

I think your better off returning the case. Samsung is non known for fast software fixes, specially for something similar this. Get the case again in the future once you know it's fixed, and it should be cheaper past then.

I like the example and don't actually demand the AOD to show through the case. I simply like having a embrace example while working. Simply my Symmetry came today too and I similar information technology also.

For me the Clear View Cover with the non working AOD is not a alternative to other cases.
So I accept a small Bug-Fix which worked for me :-)
I removed the pocket-sized magnet on the lower right of the lid (it is just glued), now the always On Screen is withal showing up even when the Cover is closed.
What you lose, is the On / Off functionality when you open or close the lid. What is no problem for me, considering I'one thousand using the Fingerprint.Small Brake: The AOD is not showing up every bit bright as the Display would do with the normal Clear View Cover Screen so ist is not perfect to read. But better than an Off Screen :-)

If so, why did information technology work perfectly until the last software update? AOD was one of the reasons I bought the telephone. After immediately dropping my kickoff S7 border without a case and rendering it useless, I bought a 2d phone with Samsung clear view case. The AOD worked fine with the case, equally advertised. A couple of days ago at that place was a new software message on the phone. I downloaded and installed the new software and the AOD through the case stopped working, in fact information technology turned AOD off and went to a blank screen.
